Educational Technology in Workplace (reflection)

Our world is rapidly accelerating. This acceleration requires from the individual to keep acquiring the recent demanded skills in order to be an affective worker. The key thing here is that one of the most important aims of educational technology is to improve acquiring those skills in as efficient way as possible by promoting learners engagement and creating an accurate plan for stack integration.

The application of educational technology in workplace has increased in the recent years in many forms. For instance, they is  a lot of universities around the world offering online dgrees that people can get from any location In the world, therefore they can apply for any program that is needed to improve their efficiency in the workplace. This can not be done without educational technology and the available educational tools such as learning management systems as well as massive online open cources. In this period of the spreading of covid-19 we have seen also a lot of training opportunities happen online using one of the video conferencing tools such as zoom and google meet where imployers can join to these training workshops just online without need to do travel arrangements.

I hunderstand from this that educational technology is required now in wider contexts including the workplace as it provides scientific approaches for facilitating learning and boosting performance.
